FAQ
Common questions, clear answers.
What experienced executives typically want to know before submitting an expression of interest.
Is this a full-time role?
No. The Entrepreneur-in-Residence Programme is project-based. Participation does not create an employment relationship.
Will I receive compensation?
Yes. Compensation is determined based on the scope, duration, complexity, and nature of each engagement.
Can I continue with my current employment?
Yes, provided your participation complies with your contractual obligations and any applicable conflict-of-interest requirements.
Can retired executives apply?
Absolutely. We welcome experienced professionals who remain passionate about contributing to the industry.
Is there an application deadline?
No. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
How long do engagements typically last?
Assignments may range from a few weeks to several months depending on the scope and complexity of the engagement.
Do I need to be based in Lagos?
Many engagements involve client sites across Nigeria. Working arrangements are agreed per assignment.
How are conflicts of interest managed?
Every engagement begins with a conflicts check. Where conflicts exist, an EiR will not be placed on that mandate.
